Programmers need to determine who the target user they are creating the app for is- and then find out from that target user what they want and need. Too often, it seems, programmers are more focused on displaying what clever programmers they are than how well the app they create meets needs. As an author who writes both novels and textbooks, I have tried most apps and programs that relate to text processing and have concluded that they are created by programmers, not writers. This is a nice little app- but it could be great with a few improvements. Now, if I can just get my family to download this. Overall, this app is the best I’ve seen for the specific need of keeping my todo list organized and allowing for quick, unencumbered entries. I’m getting the paid version only to support the company that gave me this for free. If you’re expecting all the bells and whistles, go elsewhere. And black is too dark (Do I sound like Goldilocks?) That’s my issue and the developers probably didn’t mean for this app to be that involved. That sounds picky but again pure, staring-into-the-sun bright white is distracting to me. The last thing I like that helps me is to change the background color. I prefer not to leave the entry to be able to do that. Outliner requires a touch of a button on a tool bar to add/edit these which isn’t my favorite feature. Lastly, the ability to add notes to each entry. Also to get my wandering mind’s attention.
